Ku Bar is an award winning destination Gay bar in London Soho. Q&A Interior Design were commissioned to design the interior of the street level bar to compliment their basement club and first floor lounge.


We designed an aesthetic that could change from casual lunchtime drinking and then dial up the ambience throughout the day into full party mode.

    This was achieved with a stylish neutral palette of tactile materials that could change dramatically with light. Using decorative RGB tube lights and concealed RGB strip lights to dictate a trendy vibe the bar could change colour at the touch of a button.


    The use of terrazzo on both the bar and the floor gave the new fit out a more contemporary feel complimented with copper metal mesh frames to give a bit of edge.


    Ku Bar's interior design stand out feature was the rose tinted mirror wall with integrated shard like led strip lights and floating LED media screens.
