For The Saints - Espresso Bar

For The Saints is a nostalgic but contemporary interpretation of the Italian Caffé and Espresso bar. Q&A Interior Designers were tasked with reinvigorating the romance of Italian Caffé culture in the centre of Montpellier, Cheltenham. 


We wanted to remove the British perception of the cafe queue and reintroduce the concept of the bar. This would allow a more informal approach to service and allowed the staff to engage more with their customers.


From coffee to pastries, Italian style sandwiches & ice cream to cocktails and aperitivo's, For The Saints could accommodate your requirements at any time of the day.

    The bar included a Modbar Barista solution with above counter modules to create the theatre and ritual of coffee making right in front of the customer. This meant no hiding behind large countertop coffee machines.


    The bar front front was enriched with dark walnut timber panels with Rattan inserts and then finished with a decadent green marble bar top. 


    Defining the bar area was an oversized pattern terrazzo tile floor separated by a herringbone walnut floor with brass and Emperador marble furniture. 


    For The Saints repeats these nostalgic Italian motifs throughout the interior design as well as the outdoor seating area. 


    The interior is complimented by rich walnut bentwood furniture with rattan detailing.
